WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the verbal plenary inspiration of both the Old Testament and the New Testament. We believe that God has supernaturally preserved His Word in the Masoretic Text and the Received Text. The Scriptures are literal, inerrant, and infallible and are the final authority of our faith. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man.  We hold to the King James Version as the accurate English translation of the preserved texts. The Bible is to be interpreted according to its original grammatical and historical meaning. 

We believe in one triune God eternally existing in three persons-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that each person of the Trinity is co-equal and co-eternal in being.  We believe that God is Holy, Just, and Sovereign. 

We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin, Mary. We believe that while He became a man, He never ceased to be God. We believe that because Christ is God, He cannot sin. We believe that He willingly offered up His own life as the substitutionary sacrifice for sinful mankind.  We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, and His ascension to Heaven. We believe that Christ is now at the right hand of God where He intercedes on our behalf. 

We believe that salvation is the gift of God and not of our own works. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith. We believe that God extends salvation to whosoever will repent of sin, believe on Him , and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We believe in the eternal security of the believer, and that the redeemed are sealed by the Spirit and kept by the power of God.

We believe that marriage was ordained by God. We believe that marriage is exclusively between a man and a woman. We believe it is a holy union representing the future joining of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Bride. 

We believe that the local church is the physical manifestation of the body of born again believers. We believe that the Church was established by Christ; therefore every Christian should be an active member of their local church.
